The Amoos brand, from The Navigator Company, starts 2025 on a high note by securing these two prestigious national accolades: the Five Stars Award and the Consumer Choice Award 2025. These honours reflect the brand’s unwavering commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability, reaffirming its position as a leading name in the tissue sector.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Amoos brand received the Five Stars Award, this year notably in the napkin category for the 40×40 product in the Naturally Soft range. This recognition, based on rigorous evaluation criteria, highlights the product’s consistency and excellence, as well as Portuguese consumers’ preference for the comfort and sustainability offered by Natural Soft Fibre™ technology.
Made from 100% virgin fibre and free from chemical bleaches, the Amoos Naturally Soft range includes fast-moving consumer goods such as toilet paper and napkins, alongside professional-grade products like jumbo toilet rolls, centre-pull rolls and hand towels. These products are dermatologically tested, suitable for sensitive skin and approved for food contact.
A market study conducted by the brand among Iberian consumers revealed that they view unbleached virgin pulp products as a sustainable alternative. Additionally, consumers prefer unbleached virgin fibre products for their superior softness: 72% rated the softness as good or very good, compared to only 52% for partially recycled products and 44% for fully recycled products.
Furthermore, the Amoos brand was recognised as the #1 Brand in the 2025 Consumer Choice Awards in the toilet paper category. This award, based on the opinions and evaluations of Portuguese consumers, reflects the brand’s ongoing efforts to provide high-quality products that meet the daily needs of households.
The Consumer Choice Awards evaluated over 2,000 brands across 208 categories, awarding only those that exceed quality and satisfaction expectations. These honours underscore Navigator’s investment in the tissue sector, demonstrated through the launch of innovative hygiene and cleaning products made from sustainably managed eucalyptus plantations.
